AMS is the longest running Apartment Management Service on Mt Buller, established in 1998. Since 2011 the Stoneman family have been providing visitors with an extensive range of quality managed apartment accommodation.
Our main office is located in Mansfield and during the winter season we operate 24/7 on Mt Buller.
AMS has a reputation for excellence, delivering thorough, professional and friendly services for all guests.
We manage 170 apartments and houses, 50 of which are available for short term rent for your winter holiday.

Meet Our Team
Chris Stoneman – Owner & Managing Director
An ambulance paramedic on Mt Buller for 14 years, Chris knows this place like the back of his hand. Father of 3 who have all grown up skiing on Mt Buller, Chris and his wife Shona have called Mansfield home for the last 24 years. An avid snow skier, Chris also loves water skiing and breeding and showing his Arabian horses. In the summer time when not skiing overseas Chris is a builder.
Shona Stoneman – Owner & Office Manager
In her spare time, Shona is a personal trainer, taking aerobic classes 3 times a week, supports Acorn Autistic Centre and breeds award winning long-haired Border Collies.
Caleb Stoneman – Guest Services Supervisor
When he isn’t helping you with your luggage as you check in and out of our apartments, Caleb is an Outdoor Education Teacher and Mountain Bike Tour Guide. Skiing, paddling, riding and climbing – when it comes to extreme sports – Caleb is one of the best.
Elaine Teunissen – Reservations Consultant
Having moved to the Mansfield area 24 years ago to start her own Restaurant and Accommodation business, Elaine has extensive knowledge of the hospitality and guest services industries. She enjoys snowboarding, bike riding and the social life Mansfield and Mt Buller have to offer.
Helen Edwards – Reservations Consultant
Born in Melbourne but escaped to Merrijig (halfway between Mansfield and Mt Buller) 20 years ago – she loves skiing, horse riding and just being in the High Country.
Before her “tree change” Helen worked for Tourism Australia and Jetset in marketing and administration.
Tanja Cassidy – Accounts
Tanja is a fully qualified Bookkeeper who realised her dream of owning a wilderness rural property after making a “tree” change from Melboune.
Her love of nature and bushwalking made this area an obvios choice.
Rebekah Stoneman – Office Assistant
Currently studying Health Promotion and Commerce at La Trobe University, Rebekah assists in the family business whenever she can.
